Terre Haute Ministries will host an orientation to the Good Works Indiana Strengthening Families (GWIN-SF) Grant on Tuesday, March 23 at Maryland Community Church. The grant is from the Indiana Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives. The GWIN-SF grant is designed to assist organizations, such as yours, as you work to empower individuals in the community. The GWIN-SF Grant’s specific focus is on economic empowerment, awarding organizations with grant funds that replenish expenditures on economic and barrier-removing activities (some examples are GED classes, resume workshops, employment-related transportation, and childcare).
Terre Haute Ministires Director Honnalora Hubbard was invited to join the Indiana Faith-based Advisory Council (IFBAC). The IFBAC is an advisory group and members of the council are appointed by the Executive Director of the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives in consultation with the Governor.
